Garage Door

1. Material - 100% Meranti
2. Frame thickness: 32 - 34mm
3. Panel thickness: 22mm
4. Horizontal lengths are made from 5m lengths and are never finger jointed
5. The door has five stiffeners to support each leave
6. The door has a weather strip at the bottom
7. The wood is kiln dried and the best waterproof glue is used
8. The doors are weather treated twice with a sealer prior to installation
9. The door weight is appoximately 160kg
10. Torsion springs as per weight of door

Hardware

1. The tracking is installed on a 32mm pine jam
2. The hinges are made from glass-filled nylon. They are tough and durable, requiring no lubrication or maintenance
3. Roller for panels are made of nylon and are fitted with 10-ball bearing and a steel shaft. The rollers are heavy duty and very quiet running.
4. Horizontal tracking is supported by galvanized pre-punched angles brackets.
5. Track sets are rolled in 1.6mm galvanized steel making them sturdy and corrosion resistant.
6. Cables that lift doors are 3mm thick with swaged end for attaching to the bottom brackets.

Automation

1. We use Digidoor II automation
2. The Digidoor II is worm driven
3. Courtesy light to illuminate garage interior
4. Positive locking when door is closed
5. Door automatically reverses when it encounters an obstacle
6. Transmitters use Code-Hopping makeing "code grabbing" impossible
7. Wall unit provides local control
